The Fresh Ketch Lakeside RestaurantIf you are planning a wedding reception in Lake Tahoe you must consider The Fresh Ketch. Located on the water in the Tahoe Keys Marina, the Ketch has been hosting receptions in Tahoe for over twenty years. We can serve groups up to 230 during the afternoon and up to 100 at night. You can choose from our glass enclosed Atrium , our Main Dining Room , the Patio , or the Lawn . All areas feature spectacular views of Lake Tahoe and the surrounding mountains. The AtriumUpstairs you'll find the Atrium, an L-shaped room with capacity for 100. The views include Lake Tahoe across to Cave Rock up to the North Shore, Heavenly, Freel Peak, and across to Echo Summit. The Atrium is our 'banquet room' and is typically available for banquets.. The Main Dining RoomAlso upstairs, The Main Dining Room and porch affords almost 360 degree views of the Lake Tahoe Basin ranging from the lawn below, to the marina, the lake, Mt. Tallac, Mt. Rose, Heavenly, and beyond. The Main Dining Room is available evenings for non private seated receptions up to twenty. For brunches or luncheons the room seats up to 130 (without a buffet) but can also be combined with the Atrium to seat up to 230. For afternoon parties the main dining room must be clear by 5:00. The Patio and LawnThe patio is an ideal area for casual receptions, rehearsals, or bridal showers. Right on the marina you sit among a fountain garden under the clear Tahoe skies. Adjacent to the patio is the waterfront lawn which can seat up to 110. Since we offer our diners outdoor seating we can not combine the patio and lawn for parties. Catered ReceptionsThe Fresh Ketch caters elegant affairs as evidenced by their Gold Medal at The Autumn Food & Wine Festival held at The Resort at Squaw Creek. You can choose from any of our banquet menus or let us work with you to create your custom menu. Many of the yachts listed on this website hail from the Tahoe Keys Marina, next to the Ketch, making us a natural choice for catered receptions and rehearsals on Lake Tahoe. |
